RogerHub Final Grade Calculator
Calculate what score you need on a final exam to reach a target course grade, or enter a possible final-exam score to see the resulting course grade.
What does a final grade calculator answer?
It answers the common question: “What do I need on the final?” The calculator uses your current course grade, the final exam weight, and your target grade to solve for the final exam score needed. It also includes a what-if field so you can test possible final exam scores.
Formula
The final weight must be entered as the percentage of the total course grade. If your final is worth 25%, then the rest of the course is worth 75%.
What can go wrong?
The biggest mistake is using the wrong current grade. Some gradebooks show an unweighted category average, a weighted current grade, or a grade that excludes missing assignments. Use the grade that your syllabus says counts before the final.
